I'm Stefani Carol
I’m an entrepreneur, educator, and beauty trailblazer addicted to helping you elevate your passion for beauty into an amazing career.
I’m an Ohio-born-and-raised girl who has spent 20 years building her beauty business from the ground up. As the oldest of 5 children, I spent my childhood dolling up my younger sisters. I guess it’s no shock that beauty and sisterhood are at the core of who I am!
After years of being a devoted student and getting licensed in everything I could, I opened the first-ever makeup academy in the state of Ohio. I also toured across the US to teach makeup artistry, but that still wasn’t enough. I wanted to connect with even more of you and create an empowering experience for all artists everywhere, so I took my knowledge and brought it online.
I’m not just a teacher – I’m a mentor. I love collaborating with women and creating a safe and inspiring space in which we can learn and grow. Together, I know we can take your love and excitement for the beauty industry and elevate it into the successful business you’ve always dreamed of.

A bit more about me
You already know beauty and education are my absolute passions, but there’s so much more to me that I’d love to share with you.
- I’m a mom to an amazing little man named Ace (who is my entire heart)
- I’m a wife to Will, an inspiring author, and entrepreneur, who also happens to be the love of my life
- I’m a singer and songwriter and have been playing the piano since age 3. I’ve done singing competitions and recorded a few hits back in the day.
- Sunsets are my jam. If I see even a hint of a beautiful sunset, I will immediately jump in my car and find the best spot to watch it from.
I’m known for my pinpoint precise techniques, which I perfected while soldering circuit boards as an electrical technician when I was 18! It’s funny where life takes you sometimes, isn’t it?
My overnight success

2002
Began freelancing as a bridal makeup artist.
(which I continued doing until 2022…20 years!)
2006
Landed my first salon job and quickly advanced into a management role.
2007
Jumped into on-camera makeup and fell in love with being on set for commercials, movies, magazines, and brand campaigns.
2009
Enrolled in beauty school but realized the curriculum was lacking. I continued learning on my own and constantly brought new tools and techniques into the classroom to share with other students.
2010
Finished beauty school and began working for them as a field admissions representative.
2011
Started touring the US and teaching makeup classes. That’s when I had my lightbulb moment – I don’t just want to be an artist, I want to leave an impact on this industry by providing the education I wish had.
2012
Began freelancing, teaching masterclasses, and being a residential artist for many well-known brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills and Chanel.
2015
Opened my own salon and Ohio’s first-ever makeup academy.
Launched my first product! A lash line called Lovie Lashes.
2016
Built a bridal team to travel around the world.
2019
Took my bridal makeup class on tour to students throughout the US.
Launched my own line of lash serums and cleansers.
2020
I expanded my academy with private beauty suites for independent professionals (in the middle of a pandemic!)
2021
Opened a second salon location.
I rebranded – the Stefani Carol Makeup Academy became Elevate Academy of Beauty.
2022 & beyond
Started teaching online courses to reach even more inspiring artists and beauty enthusiasts.
